Why is my account coming in as the wrong type?

Sometimes when a bank account is connected to Monarch it can be labeled as an incorrect type. For example, it's labeled as a Checking account when it's truly a Savings account.

You can correct the label from your account on web. Go to your Accounts page, scroll down to the specific account, and click on it.

  1. Click on the "Edit Account" button in the top right
  2. Choose in the dropdown menu the correct type and subtype
  3. Click the "Save" button
