Known Connection and Sync Issues

Monarch connects to thousands of financial institutions. We will always display the real-time connection status of each financial institution on your Accounts page.

Apple Card is Now Supported!

Please note that Wells Fargo, Capital One, and Charles Schwab are synced differently than other accounts. Learn more here.

If you are experiencing infrequent syncs or having trouble adding an institution, please know that some Issues can resolve themselves within a day. If you see an error that is not listed here it may be helpful to come back the next day later and try again. You can also add a Manual Account to track your balance until the connection is repaired.

Experiencing Occasional Errors (Last updated May 7, 2021)
  • Discover - Discover only allows transaction updates between 7 pm-7 am EST.
  • Fidelity - Regular updates are stopped. Please force refresh your account from 5 PM - 9 AM ET to get the latest balance information.
  • TD Bank - Currently only allows transaction updates daily between 11 pm-6 am EST. 
  • Vanguard - Regular updates are stopped. Please force refresh your account from 5 PM - 9 AM ET to get the latest balance information
  • Venmo - Currently down.
