You can move budget amounts between your categories while keeping the total budgeted amount for the month the same. This can be helpful if you overspend in one category, but still have available funds in a different category. Note: When using flex budgeting, this feature is only available for categories within the flexible spending bucket.
For example, if you have overspent your shopping category by $65, your budget will show a red "-$65." To accommodate this, you can move money from another category where you have funds available. To move the funds, click on the negative number. You will see a pop-up box that lets you select the category with more money and specify the amount you want to move from that category.
