Adding notes, receipts, and attachments to a transaction

Adding files and notes to transactions are helpful ways to define and track expenses.

Adding receipts and attachments on desktop

  • On desktop, navigate to the transaction you would like to add a receipt and/or attachment to.
  • Select > on the transaction line to expand the transaction details.
  • Scroll down and select Upload a file.
  • Find and select the file to be attached to the transaction.
  • This will automatically save to the transaction.

Please Note: You can add up to 3 images on web and mobile.

Adding notes on desktop

  • On desktop, navigate to the transaction you would like to add a note to.
  • Select > on the transaction line to expand the transaction details.
  • Scroll down and locate the Notes text box.
  • Type your note details.
  • This will automatically save to the transaction.

Please Note: You can add notes to your transaction details and then search for that information later, see a summary of the matching transactions, and download it in a .CSV.

Adding receipts and attachments on mobile

  • On mobile, navigate to the transaction you would like to add a receipt and/or attachment to.
  • Select the transaction to expand the transactions details.
  • Scroll down to Attachments and select Attach a file...
  • Take a photo or select existing photo to attach to the transaction.
  • This will automatically save to the transaction.

Adding notes on mobile

  • On mobile, navigate to the transaction you would like to add a note to.
  • Select the transaction to expand the transactions details.
  • Scroll down to Notes and select Add notes...
  • This will automatically save to the transaction.
